Eclectic and resourceful just like its owner, this double lot townhouse garden was designed to embrace character and charm. The abundant reclaimed lumber and stone gives this outdoor living area the look of an older, more mature garden. As a New York City landmarks neighborhood we designed the driveway and custom iron work including a remote controlled gate to blend in with its surroundings and fulfill our clients needs. The custom couch was hand-carved from an urban milled log. We reused old marble from the interior to create a back splash for our custom gas grill. Multiple levels were created to accommodate the seating needs of larger gatherings. A green roof was installed on the garage-turned-guest house to help insulate it.
