The Coney Island Glider is the first custom furniture piece developed by Brook Landscape collaboration with architect Josh McKeown.Handmade in Brooklyn with recycled woods from a variety of sources around the NYC area, we’ve taken reclaimed Redwood from rooftop water tanks or Ipe decking from the Coney Island boardwalk, cleaned it up and turned it into a piece of outdoor furniture, available on a made to order basis. Designed to celebrate the original 1950’s porch glider design in pressed metal your Grandparents had in their backyard growing up, we’ve integrated our details to provide both solid construction and heirloom quality hardware, that we hope you will keep until you can pass it along to your next generation. LOG CARVING

I designed this log for one of our urban landscapes. It took a couple days to turn the full 17′ log into two great pieces of outdoor furniture. We are finishing up a prototype of our new Coney Island glider that will be coming out this spring.
The finale outdoor friendly love seat will be made from the IPE reclaimed from Brooklyn New York’s very own Coney Island boardwalk. These original organic furniture pieces will add character and life to any landscape urban or suburban.

Ace Hotel has commissioned us to create a series of mobile tables for their basement event space. We made all the table tops with reclaimed pine timbers to keep in line with the Ace Brand and promote green building practices.

There's nothing like the jewel-like swaths of color and texture that bulbs bring in spring, just when you can't take winter any longer. You can get this early dose of spring color by planting bulbs this coming fall. Forced bulbs are available but all good things come to those who plan. Let our team customize a planting plan that maximizes your early to late spring enjoyment of the garden. Bulbs are mother nature's way of telling us, hold on, don't despair, warmer weather is on the way! With a solid design her language is very compelling.
